Tagay for a Cause

Rotary Club of San Juanico joins OKTUBAFEST “Tagay for a cause” of An Waray Party list. On October 18, 2009 An waray party list organized a Tagay for a Cause for the benefit victims of Bagyo Ondoy and Pepeng. It was remarkable also for the world record breaking on largest Red Wine tasting of Guiness World Record.

Rotoray International – DISCON 09
March 13th, 2009
RC San Juanico participated the DISCON for 2009 at Davao City. The DISCON is the yearly event that every Rotarian would like to attend. The club sent 13 delegates to the district convention, composed of the following: ADG Buddy Estudillo, Past Presidents Bong Cellona, Ronnie Ponferrada, William Dy, President Ely Aya-ay, Secretary Ed Cumpio, Asst. Treasurer Jong Brosas, Rotarians Richard Uy, Jason Pascual, Junjun Estanislao, Noel Sy, Heinz Backzlo and Art Salazar.
Rotarians Ed Cumpio, Ronnie Ponferrada, Kit Estanislao anf Junjun Estanislao were among the recipient of the Multiple Harris Fellow Award. The Paul Harris Fellow Sustaining member certificates were also awarded to the following RCSJ Rotarians:
During the Governor’s night Rotarians Ely Aya-ay won one of the major prizes while Jason Pascual and Junjun Estanislao won the consolation prizes (cellphone) courtesy of the Governor. Everyone enjoyed the fellowship, an opportunity to renew the bond of friendship and brotherhood among fellow Rotarians.
